Hi guys!

I've got a new Sightron SIII 6-24x50LRMD for my Savage 12FV recently and I like it, but I think I have a little problem, just tested it in a field and noticed that a click value seems not to be 0.25MOA. I zeroed it, fired a group and then did 40 clicks up (10MOA) and fired another group. Theoretically a distance between groups should be 290mm (zeroed at 100m, 1 MOA on this distance is 29mm and I did 10MOA up) but practically there were 310mm between groups. I did some calculations and found that 1 click = 0.267MOA, not 0.25. The same situation was for windage, calculated value was even more, 0.28MOA! Just curious, did anybody notice this problem with their Sightrons? Or maybe with more famous scopes like Leupold&Nightforce?

Thanks

Are you shooting totally flat or uphill / downhill? If you are shooting uphill or downhill, the bullet will drop less, proportionally to the angle up or down.

Your scope clicks are .25 MOA at 100 YARDS not meters! 100 meters is 109.361 yards. Maybe that accounts for your discrepancy.
