Trophy Hunter XP Firing Pin Washer Gone

First trip at range with brand new hunter XP .223 and I had 3 light primer strikes out of about 60 rounds. Got home and disassembled bolt to clean to make sure everything was ok. Anyways, I'm now missing the washer that separates the two springs on the firing pin. I'm not 100% percent sure that I lost it though. Thinking that it was never there. I was really careful on the disassembly and never saw it when I disassembled it over work area mat, I knew what to expect. The bolt assembly screw was beyond tight to get loose the first time. Familiar with how tight they are and a 400 ft lb impact gun with 1/4 hex head wrench socket wouldn't budge it. Broke two 1/4" hex head wrenches with cheater bars, finally put in hydraulic press and it broke free. Thinking maybe the two spring faces were binding on each other and that's why it was so hard to get the bolt assembly screw loose? Maybe I'm totally wrong!

Anyways, for whatever reason, it's gone and I need an alternative. Savage classifies it as a restricted part and want the bolt or rifle back to work on it. Will not just sell washer. I tried gunparts.com and the other usual places and can't locate. Anyone have another alternative for locating the washer or an equivalent?

Kinda sounds like the spring is broken.

It's a different bolt than the one in that picture, spring not broken. Trying to locate an image. Until then it's the bolt in the link.

Take the firing pin down to your local hardware store.
Find a SS washer that matches the OD of the firing pin shaft.
Grind and/or file the OD of the washer to fit into the bolt body.

Who knows you may even find one that fits.
As always, I'm just guessing here!

The washer keeps the springs from binding together. I do like olddav.

+1 olddav....My new Trophy Hunter didn't have a washer, new out of the box. I installed one to help the bolt lift some.

I installed the washer before I had 20 rounds through it so I didn't experience or look for light primer strikes. Over 150 rounds including hand loads and no light strikes so far.

This is beginning to scare me from savage. I hope someone will post a video detailing the teardown-reassembly of bolt components just in case there's another instance of this event

Did as olddav suggested. Found metric #6 stainless steel washer with the correct id. Put on bolt and chucked up in drill press, turned on and filed od to .400" for inside of bolt. Deburred and polished, problem solved. Thanks everyone for the help.
