element chassis offhand

How well does the element do for offhand, treestand, groundblind, general hunting? It looks to have a longer foregrip than other chassis models.
Maybe a bag or ammo pouch loaded on buttstock would balance for offhand?
Is the pistol grip style good for cycling the bolt for follow up shots?

I shoot my 17.5lbs competition gun in an Element offhand on occasion in matches. I imagine with a lighter profile barrel and lighter hunting scope it would be pretty comfortable as a hunting rig. You may find the forend a little narrow, but if you add a barricade pad it's real comfortable.

The element is really light. If you go with the Taclite buttstock and don't add too many accessories it's lighter than most standard stocks.

If you like to shoot prone with a rear bag then I like the full tactical stock best. It will also balance a heavy or longer barrel better.

I prefer practice shots to be same as likely hunting shots. So offhand, tripod, shooting stix, support bar on climbing stand is preferred.
