I recently screwed up my pillar bedding job on my 338-06 build. question is, what diameter drill bit is best used to ream out the stock holes to replace and bed the lamp rod pillars to? Thanks

As far as I am concerned, bigger / more is better. Ream it out and backfill it with bedding compound. When its all done, bore out the center of the pillar even more so as to be certain the screws are free floated.
