still unclear about 110 replacement stock fit

I have a 110 short action Savage 110, (not 10) with the stagger feed with the same bolt pattern as the long action. THe mag is attatched to receiver. The stock needs replacing. The question is is will any savage 110 long action stagger feed stock work on my 110 short action stagger feed with this same bolt spread (5.06")? or is there something else to know. thx

You probably wont find a new factory stock for this. You could try Numrich, but you'll pay more than its worth, I think. Best chance would be to become a paid member for $15 and post a wtb ad for a used one.

Boyds makes inexpensive laminate and walnut stocks.
