Hey ya Golf buddy been readin your posts n threads about ya BSEV as helpin me sort a 1st rifle for my 13yold. This one is in the frame, so how it going now? We spend more time shootin paper than bunny's and while he is keen on the tackcool TRR I reckon this should cover more bases n last him many more years.
Sniff I,m a Ruger fan so hopin he would follow dad, but BSEV Savage looks tip top & this one will be his.

Great looking rifle. Just got mine last month, Still working on what ammo works best

For general good match, the Wolf MT works great for me.
I haven't tried the $15-$20 box stuff except for CCI green tag, shot lousy.
I don't shoot match, have had my BRJ accurized and it has shot a best of .117", 5 shots @ 50 yards. It shoots in the .1"'s on a decent day when I do my part. I've been told by a couple of others that the Federal Super match is good in the Savage also. They are a very ammo sensitive rifle.

I will be playing with some of the higher priced stuff if winter ever goes away. It shot the .117" when it was 31 degrees outside, I was impressed. I'd like to break the .1" mark, but I'm really going to have to be right on it to do so. I think the rifle can do it, now if I just can hold it. I'm a decent shot, but do need more practice. I've been stocking up on ammo for the Summer. I retired and will be out at least several times a week shooting. I've about had it shooting in the 20 and low 30 degree range, it' just too darn cold and the rifle and ammo do not shoot their best. When it's in the 20's, I've end up having to use my knife to pull the fired cases out of the chamber, the wax just locks them in. Takes the fun out of it along with the blue hands.

Hi,

I like so much this stock design. Please could you show groups at 50y to see how accurate is it?.

Thx,
Digi.
