Savage striker prices

I've came across a savage striker 308 win with ross Schuler brake installed everything else is stock barrel looks longer than factory barrel asking 650 at the LGS is this a fair price..

It is model 516 blued comes with EGW mount no scope

Sounds little high too me. I have been paying no more the $450 for them

Prices have generally gone up in the last two years for some unknown reason. I have never paid more than $550 for one and these all came with scopes and mounts.

They are getting higher on gunbroker too, but this hasn't yet showed up in blue book. I think it's mainly because they aren't made any longer, and the market is always moving from one new collector to another.

I bought my .243 Striker on consignment at my LGS in December 2015 for $450 with a 1x-4x silver Burris scope & a Harris bipod. It has been fired very little & looks like new. Hope I got a good deal. I think so.
