Can anyone put me on to near Harmonic Resonance with a 1:10 26" barrel. Fed.210m..Varget/168smk?
I broke it in with 150's. .977"@100..1.240"@200. Not bad for a non match cheap hunting bullet.
I've fired a few fireformed cases 42.5-45.60g varget seated anywhere from .005-.040 off of the lands. Didn't seem to make any difference that meant anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Can't find any RL-15 to save my life or i would try it. :noidea:

I can't help with a load recipe, but mine does seem to favor 175gr SMKs from SSA and FGMM ammo.

What king of results were you getting with the Varget/168SMK combo?

How often do you clean the barrel? (my barrel shoots way better when it's dirty)

You can browse around on this Sniper's hide thread and look for 168SMK-Varget combinations.

I can tell you what load works for my rifle, but my load doesn't use Varget or 168SMKs.

Bottom line is that you are probably going to have to try a few loads and keep notes before you stumble upon something your rifle likes.

I've had great results with two savage 26" model 10 rifles using 43.5 grains Varget and 168 grain bullets. -.020 off the lands for the AMAX and a little closer for the Hunting VLD bullets.
