Made it back to Nebraska for almost 42 hours.

Of course, the new Jard trigger was there waiting for me. Argh #1

Of course, I have ONE Savage rifle left in the gunsafe, the rest are in Montana. Argh #2

Of course, the action that I purchased was missing a couple minor parts that I did not have extras of, because all of the spare trigger parts are in Montana as well. Argh #3

Of course, I will not be back to Montana OR Nebraska for at least three weeks. Argh #4

But, I still mounted the trigger in the new to me action. First impressions....HECK YEAH! This will be an excellent trigger. Breaks VERY clean and light. Nice feel to it. No sponge/springy feel. When it breaks, it breaks clean.

So, would somebody else buy one, install it, and give a REAL report...WITH pictures please!!!????!!!

Jard DID change the angle of the sear, drastically. Very good move on their part.

I will be on the road Friday. I will call....hope you are a fast typer! LOL!

Truly wish I could have given a FULL report. Hard to do when I am missing a critical part...like a factory safety piece (missing from action when it was received)....AND....a complete rifle to shoot it with.

My first impressions are in the 9 category.
