For some reason Savage does not provide the rate of twist on the new Scout rifle on their site. The old one is 1:10. There are various article out there that state specs. The problem is, the articles have conflicting info. Some say 1:12, some say 1:10. As it's a Savage .308, I'd assume 1:10. Anyone have any confirmed info?

Savage has always used 1-10" for the .308. That's been the defacto twist rate for the .308 across all brands for many decades, and any deviation from it would be limited to a specialty rifle (i.e. the Model 12 Palma which has a 1-13" twist to meet Palma, Fullbore and International competition rules).

That's what I figured. Thanks.
