22-250 70 gr vld, 75 gr A-MAX Powder suggestions & load's.

Picked up a model 12 VLP w/ 1-9" the weekend. Already have 3000 70 gr Berger VLDs' and 2500 75 gr A-MAXs'.
If I could get some info on what powder you guys are using that would be great .

I have Varget , H4350 , H4831SC , SUPERFORMANCE , H1000 , RETUMBO .

I have been getting excellent results with Reloader 17 with the heavier weight bullets. 37.5gr of R17 and a 69gr Match king give me 3,440 fps and groups well under half inch at 100 yards.

Romany years ago I was trying iMR4007sSc with the 69 SMK with great results in my 28" barrel, 1:8 twist PacNor. IMR4831 worked or with the 75 AMax. Used the H4350 with the 80 SMK. Gave up on it due to time available. I acquire a box of Lapua 22-250 brass and will try again to improve. Tim
