Wow! I cant believe that thought didnt cross my mind... I hadnt had my moring coffee yet so thats my excuss. Ill try it tonight.

It was about the only way to weigh my little girl when she was a year old!

I bought one of those Berkley digital fish scales because? No clue but it works great and gets ya accurate to .01 onces. Nice when making changes.

Easier to use then the half dozen or more trade scales we accumulated over the years.

Interesting build. I am curious about 2 things though. Seems like you're after a light weight woods rifle, so why the heavy bolt (for a gloved grip maybe?) and the bi-pod? Is it just for stand hunting?

This build transformed from another where weight didnt matter. Extreme lightweight wasn't the goal. And the bi pod would have been removed prior to hunting.

Great Rifle! I really like it I love them short rifles and that's a beauty!
