Hello everyone... New savage owner here, i just got a axis hb 308, this is my first bolt action. I did a lot of research and chose this rifle because:

1 I wanted a good inexpensive base as a learning tool, so if i screw it up at least my pockets wont be empty and i can always afford another one.

2 Found a lot of reviews on how easy it is to improve without paying a gunsmith.

3 Heavy barrel for target shooting days.

4 Learnig how to shoot middle/long range.

5 Hunting from coyotes to elk.

And the most important reason:

6 HAVING LOTS OF FUN!!!
