I just bought a 12FV in 204 Ruger. I am going to shoot 40gr Vmax's to start out and maybe try some 32gr Vmax's later.
I want to try Reloder 15 and Varget. I have lots of Varget Data, but none of my books show any RL15 data, and went to Alliant's website and they didn't have any data at all for the 204.

I need recommended start loads and max loads for 32gr and 40gr Vmax's using RL15.

Thanks.

Thanks dcloco. Right after I posted this thread, I thought, just one more websearch..... and I stubled upon that same page. I must have been putting the wrong stuff in my seach engine. Thanks again.

I use Steve's pages a lot when thinking about new projects and powders. So much so I sent him the price of a book :) LOL may have to "buy" a second book one of these days. He keeps adding new stuff.

IMO there is no better or more complete loading data available anywhere than that offered on www.loaddata.com

It costs the price of 1 reloading manual and has the compiled data from 40+ years of Handloader and Rifle magazines as well as nearly all the data from every modern published reloading manual.

An amazing amount of info with a great search function to search by cartridge, bullet weight, powder manufacturer, and powder type. All the data can be printed as well.

If I didn't enjoy reading printed reloading manuals in bed I'd never spring for another copy again.

Thanks Blue and nsaqam. I will definatly check those out. I was just amazed that the alliant factory site and my printed alliant manual for 2009 didn't have plain ol' 204 in them. Or my Lee manual for that matter. This is why I love this site, all the help you need is a search or a post away.

nsaqam, outta look into a laptop computer and wifi, that way you can read your data in bed, on the "throne", or wherever. Just a though, but I guess buying a new computer takes money away from the next Savage build :D .
