Lost the Detent ball out of my Axis today. What size steel ball do I need to find?

Originally .120-.125, upgraded to .140 for more reliable extraction.
Any good bicycle shop should be able to set you up with some.

If you always install/remove inside of a ziplock bag, you'll never lose another one.

Or mcmaster carr, 9/64 balls are $5/100 +1, that's what I did and now I have a good supply of .140" bearings for future builds and improving the extraction on Savages owned by friends.
