converting blind mag stocks from Centerfeed to staggerfeed or the reverse?

I thought this had been covered here before but I'm having a hard time finding it. I've looked in the FAQ's and tried to search, so I finally decided to just ask.

When it comes to blind mag stocks, can you convert a stagger feed stock into a center feed stock by adding a center feed magazine in the stagger feed cavity?

Can you change a center feed stock to a stagger feed stock by simply removing the center feed magazine to leave the magazine cavity empty?

Am I on the right track here??

Short action stagger feed blind mag stocks can be converted to short action center feed blind mag stock by pulling the front pillar (if any) and moving it forward a bit. The mag might need shims and epoxy work to make sit right. I have done a few without much trouble.

I don't think I would want to try making a cf into a sf.

Long action blind mag stocks can be done without much trouble.
