I'm doing a switch barrel on my .308 Model 12 F T/R. I wanted to try playing with a 220 swift so I ordered a McGowen barrel in .224, 5 Groove, 7.7 twist, 30" long. Stainless, target shank threads, 11 degree crown....
I didn't know they made a 5 groove in 7.7 twist. I'm really looking forward to trying it with some heavy bullets but as it's a 30" barrel in a weird groove/twist they said it would be the full 16 weeks.
