New to Striker

I pick up like new Striker 516 in 243. I have been looking for a Striker for some time, this one fell in lap at a as it came in to a LGS. The first question, does the the factory muzzle brake come off for cleaning or is it permanently attached?

It will unscrew. Not sure how to take it apart after that though.

Has a barrel nuts and unscrews
you would have to head space with go and no go guages
