Model 10 Indentity Help ?

Just picked this up. It has a normal bolt handle, accu trigger, and a heavy threaded barrel that is around 16 or 18". It has internal magazine. It also has a Hogue stock which doesn't help. I just don't what it is. Thanks for your help.

Go to the Savage website, on the far right is the "store" tab, scroll down to "partfinder" and enter the serial number. A description and exploded parts list will appear.

Looks like someone's past project as the finish on the barrel and action don't appear to match. Action looks like it has a glossier finish while the barrel has more of a matte finish. Hard to know if the barrel came from the factory that length and threaded or if someone had a longer varmint barrel cut down and threaded. Using the Part Finder on Savage's website will tell you what the action was originally built to, but that's about it.
