Guys,

This might seem a little backwards, but I have the accu-trigger Mark II BTVS. It's a tack driver, and I love it, but I need something lighter so I've organised to get some Savage synthetic stocks to put on there. They aren't too expensive at only $40 each directly from Savage.

Before you ask, the reason I don't get some other brand is because it's hard to import stocks into Australia, and the guys here charge like wounded bulls.

At any rate, I'm wondering if anyone has done thing. Will all the BTVS hardware, trigger guard and screws etc fit onto the synthetic stock?

Has anyone got some close up pictures of their synthetic stocks vs a BTVS stock?

Just trying to get some more info.

Cheers,
Jase

The bottom metal on the synthetic stock is different than the BV stock. It's longer. You should be able to get it with the stock for just a few dollars at most. The trigger guard is built onto the synthetic stock so you won't have to worry about that. You should probably get the right screws for the synthetic stock too. When I bought the parts I needed to upgrade to a BTV stock I think I spent about $30 but I had to buy a trigger guard which was by far the most expensive piece. You won't have to worry about that. Be sure to verify that with the sales rep when you talk to them because maybe they sell a different stock when they sell them separately .
