Hello,

i am new to this forum, so hello to ya`all!

I am from Germany and purchased this week a new 11/111 Hog Hunter in .308.

Today i went to the range and the rifle shoot really good. Espacially with Federal Premium Tactical with Sierra 165 Bullet.

I tried to adjust the iron sights but they shooting way too high. What could i do? Grind the notch in the rear sight down?

Somebody had the same problem?

Regards David

If you're shooting high, you want to adjust the rear sight up.

This should explain it pretty well. And welcome to the forum.

No, shot high = adjust low

If rear sight aperture can move down, point of impact moves down."

Williams sights makes a rear peep sight for the hog hunter that is fully adjustable and works great in conjunction with the stock front sight. It screws right into the receiver using the existing base mounting holes and gives a longer sight radius. I have one on my hog hunter and it works perfect.
