what is the axis accu trigger action-for boyds stock?

I have an axis with heavy barrel and accu trigger and upon trying to order a boyds stock it showed short action and long action. I think the short action or lefty was the only option for the heavy barrel stock.

The action is the same lengths for all cartridges. In the basic Axis the differences between long and short action is the mag and trigger guard. The long action mag is half an inch longer than the short action mag, so Savage uses two different trigger guards with the long action guard being a half inch shorter. With the Boyd's stock, you will order based on whether you have a short action magazine or long action magazine. For example the .308 uses the short action magazine, so you would specify short action.
