Which Model 12 is this??

Bought a model 12 in 308, new at Cabelas. But its weird. Its the regular target action, and barrel length ( Right bolt, right port, 30" barrel) of the f/tr, but in a LRPV HS stock, not the laminate like F/TR. Found two that day on sale and took both. Any ideas what that was called?

Was it $389 or $419? If so it is a cabelas exclusive called a 12FV.

It has the target action. Single shot target action and hs precision aluminum bedding stock. On sale was $900. 12 fv is repeater with plastic stock.

One was on rack, other i trashed the darn box in a move. Then went to the website and could never find this model. Saw the action, stock and barrel, liked it lots and bought them. Both 308 win. Its 100% same as f/tr just with the hs stock. They shoot insane, would just like to know what model.

You can go to Savage website, look under the "Store" tab, go down to "part finder" and enter your rifles serial numbers. It'll list model number and all parts in an exploded diagram format.
