Comparing a model 10 short action to a 110 long action in inches. How much shorter is the short action?

Was more looking for overall length from tang to threads but that link works and I can figure it out from there. Thanks

Don't have measurements to give you, but this will help...

- They're all the same from the rear action screw to the back end of the tang.
- The Gen II and Gen III short-actions are the same overall length, Savage just moved the screw location.
- The Gen I short-action overall length is roughly 0.310" longer than the Gen II and Gen II short-actions.
- The Gen I short-action is approximately 0.540" shorter than a 110 long-action.
- The Gen II and Gen III short-actions are around 0.850" shorter than a 110 long-action.

These specifics and additional details can be found in the following article on page 3.
