Call me stupid I guess

I cleaned my model 110 FP-SR and for the $%&# life of me I can get the bolt back in. It's my first bottom bolt release Savage.
Manual say just pull trigger and insert bolt. Nope! I tried pulling trigger the holding in bolt release... Nope. Dropped mag and tried again...Nope. Tried safety on and off ...Nope

So before I get out the 2.# dead blow hammer I thought I'd as an expert on here

2 things to try, make sure the front baffle has the little fin on the right side, if this doesn't work then, push bolt release at same time as pulling the trigger bacck and hold while trying to slide the bolt in with other hand. it took me awhile to get the hang of it, kind of tricky with the bottom bolt release.

The little tab goes right you mean on the ejection port side, correct?

Devil dog BIg Thank you. Had the little blade thingy assbackards. Got the darn thing back in. Just have to be contorsunisth and talk nicely to get it to work
