Just ordered some 264 Berger Hybrid 140s. I'm looking for some advice from the learned here and maybe a shortcut.;)
I know this is probably a question that's been asked(tried a search but must have messed it up) but do you find you jam these or load them close similar to the VLDs or do they like some jump?
Cartridges, if it matters are a 260 AI, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5-06, and 6.5-06 AI
Thanks in advance!

Just have to play with them and see what each rifle likes. Litz recommends loading them .015, .030, and .045 for initial testing and then fine tuning from there.

Or you could just shoot 139 Lapua Scenars with the same load throughout your barrels entire lifespan.

Nice groups.
Think I'll start at .015 and see what happens.
Thanks!

Berger advertises the hybrid shape as being able to make a signifigant jump and keep accuracy. That being said, I like to start .010" off the lands on a new bullet. My 308 loves vld hunting anout .007" into the lands.

I seated my 168gr 308s at .015 to start with, as recommended by the guys over at Berger. Here's my 5 shot group using 41.0gr of H4895.
