3X night vision on a 100yd max 16" 308

Hi guys, any advice on a 3X night vision optic for a .308 that will not exceed 100yds? Is 3x enough for hogs/deer at that distance? I dont own any optics with that low of magnification.

3X is plenty as long as the NV optic provides enough light to see and holds zero.

Just be darn sure of your target then check the target again and make 1000% sure you know what's in your sights at night.
We had a DNR officer in Georgia mistaken for a coyote at night while crawling behind a berm to "sneak up" on some hunters using night vision a couple of years ago.
A very tragic incident for all involved.
