1992 Savage 110 firing pin upgrade

The bolt head retaining pin broke and like everyone else I am having problems finding the .150" pin in stock. I was wondering if it is possible to buy the small pin .100" and have it drilled to the larger hole? I can't find the specs but it seems the OD of the pin is the same with the ID the only thing different. If this is not an option could someone tell me what all will have to be replaced so I can use the small diameter pin?

All you need is the current small diameter firing pin to match the hole in the cross pin.

Thanks for the info. I was finally able to find the retaining pin for the old models but may upgrade in the future if it breaks again.
