Hi guys. I just completed my new barreled action with a barrel from Jim at AGW. This thing looks awesome and once I stck it in my XLR Element Folding chassis, it'll be an attention getter. My question is, does anyone have experience with a .308 11twist this short designed for heavy pills? I'm in the dark on this and looking for some pointers.

It's a 308, so load it like a 308! Velocity will be a little slower, but sounds like you have a nice brush gun setup! Get some SMK's or GMK's and have some fun!

I'll post up a picture asap. I'm actually now debating the mccree folder over the xlr...

I like both, but I like that the XLR has a magwell that comes down slightly below the rest of the stock. The McCree's folder locks in it's folding position though.

Yeah. That's why the mccree is swaying me. That, and it comes with the folding mechanism where the xlr has it for an additional $115.
