Flush cup, Mess up

I couldn't find a gunsmith section here so I guess it goes here? Anyways, I put 3 flush cups in and the fourth was part of my badger BAR rail on my savage 10 that I put a McMillan on.

Problem is I never thought to check the rotation of my cups because I wasn't thinking about the fact they are limited rotation. I messed up on one and now my rear bottom flush cup is rotated so that the sling attachment will not rotate perpendicular to the side of the stock. It's at an angle and looks like / rather than |. Is there a way to get these things out after they have been epoxied with jb weld?
I typically heat jb weld up till it breaks the bond on metal parts (in general) but fiberglass resin is likely to break down as well if I do that. Only thing I can think of is drill them out but they seem kind of hard. My file looked like it was taking metal off but I might have to use hss or carbide drill I'm afraid.

You could just fill that one in, and install another close to it.

I thought of that, but I took my time to make sure it was exactly where I wanted it. Moving it almost 3/4 of an inch either way will drive me crazy...Gotta do it right the first time. I'm going to try a cobalt bit I picked up, if it don't work, looks like I don't have a choice.

If it is hard get a cobalt drill bit. Cheaper than carbide.

Tried out my cobalt drill bit. Worked like a charm. Cut through like it was soft steel. Although the cup started slipping about half way through and pulled out so I hope it doesn't affect strength to much
