Short Action Mag Bolt Face

Well I figured I had done every Mod possible on a savage but had never done this one. To Turn a long action Mag bolt face into a short action one, I had the short action one that I was taking off and kept measuring it as I was shorting the new one, I used the bench grinder and it worked out great, I have a rough stone and a fine stone on it, I finished off with a little chamfer on they outside and where the firing pin goes, "It actually looks machined" Anyways I installed it set the headspace and didn't even have to adjust the firing pin, all in all it came out really nice. Not just OK or close enough for government work I am really pleased with they end results. I bought two of them because I was sure I was going to screw up the first one, but now I have a spare.

They are already built there for my 243 and 257 WSMs, I wanted to free up a long action for something that holds a larger amount of powder. True
