Kydex cheek rest question

I am considering using the Rockite to stiffen the forearm and buttstock on my Stevens 200. I also would like to add a Kydex cheek rest. Do I install the Kydex screws first and put something on the screws to prevent the Rockite from sticking or do I just use a masonry bit to drill through the Rockite?
