Lady hunter stock for hunter xp

I have bought a lady hunter short action stock. I have a model 11 hunter xp that I would like to install on the lady hunter. Is the bottom for the mag on a lady hunter composite or metal. Can I order it from savage

It is composite, so is trigger gaurd. Yep, you can order just the plastic bottom for the mag then snap it on. You need to get on savage arms website and click on parts finder then punch in the serial number on your gun.

If i understand you, you don't have a Lady Hunter stock, and you want a serial # from one so that you can do a parts look up ???

I have the stock without the bottom composite. The bottom composite is what I need to order. Yes I think I need a serial number to order. everything I've ordered from savage before I had to have a serial number.

just re-barreled a Lady Hunter to 6.5x55... need all metal bottom for it as that plastic is not something I can live with (on my wife's rifle :) )...
