Has anyone ever used round rifle blanks from Green Mountain? I'm considering getting one to chamber in 7mm mag.

I'd say the most important part consideration is the smith that chambers and crowns the barrel. If he does his part, they should shoot quite well. Jim at Apache Gun Works has used them, I know, successfully.

What Foxx said 100%

Every Green Mountain I've had has been worked by Jim at Apache and there're outstanding shooters.
They will surprise you.

Yep, Foxx is correct.
Have a Green Mountain that is a 6.5 Leopard, with no complaints.

I've had maybe 4 of their blanks chambered. Love their barrels. The price is right and super quick delivery. Every one shoots bugholes and cleans up as smooth as silk.

Very nice barrels for the money. Comparable to a Shaw as far as quality.

They make barrels for Crosman air guns, and is an excellent shooting barrel in .25

I've got a GM chambered in 6.5 Creed spun up by Jim at Apache that shoots 1/4 minute as long as I do my part.

Good to know my friend that is a gunsmith was telling me about about them, I trust him to spin a good barrel but I didn't know much about gm other than they make AK barrels that are on most century arms AKs. Considering AKs aren't known for accuracy I was leery of them.

I ended up paying up for a shilen pre fit stainless select. My gunsmith buddy would take a while to get to a blank and for essentially the same price after I pay for a blank and the labor it seemed it was a moot point.
