Did you install the cheek piece? How difficult was it to install? Does it work?

I want one of those in .223. I may end up just going with a hog hunter and taking the irons off. love everything about the 10pc though, barrel length and thickness, bolt handle and stock.

Love the 10PC, it's one of the rifles that really got me looking into Savage to begin with.

My understanding has always been that the 10 PC is the Hog Hunter, but the HH has irons and no AccuStock. I might be wrong, but I believe the barrel and action are the same.

I think that 10PC and the Hog hunter are not the same, because the weigth difference is 1.102 pounds. I don't believe that the weight difference is in AccuStock.

This one is alos Hog Hunter for me, with other optic Leupold VX-R 1,25-4x20.

Yes, I install cheek piece by myself.
It wasn't hard to instal cheek piece.
I also put aluminum tubes inside holes for bedding.
