Manufacture Date for 110E

Hey all--I'm sure this is a classic "noob" question, but anyway I'm new to the forum and looking for assistance in dating a 110E (.30-06). Serial number is E958950. Thanks in advance!

Ballpark is basically anywhere from sometime in the late 70's through the end of 1987.

Thanks much--I was just looking for a timeframe. I know my 110E is not a collector's rifle, but it has deep sentimental value to me.
