12 BVSS magazine

I have a 12 BVSS in 22-250 and I'm going to re-barrel to 6.5 Creedmoor.
Do I need to get a magazine for a 243,260,308 size case??
And if so how do I get the magazine out of the stock? I see how it's supposed to come out in the FAQ but mine wont budge

You might not need another magazine for the Creedmoor. I would try the existing magazine first. If it is a center feed blind magazine with the L-Clip you can slide a thin blade screw driver under the L-Clip and pry it up a bit then work with the magazine box...it will come out eventually.
The 260, 243 and 308 are all based on the parent 308 case so they use the same magazine.

Hi Bruce and WBM
That's the link I used but mine won't budge. I did buy the rifle used, wonder if previous owner glued it in?
I'll finish my build and see if the mag works. If it does that's great. If not then I won't worry about it getting destroyed taking it out.

Some are in there pretty tight and you really have to rock them back and forth (front to rear) to walk them out.
