I had to check this out too. There is no PIN. Go to myprepaid.info. Sign in with your card info. Click on FAQs. Says to use it like a regular credit card. Swipe and sign. The amount is deducted.

Yup! Customer service said the same thing! One card down...one to go!

I've been gearing up to order a new 12FV on the Black Friday sale and am glad I found this thread! I found some $100 gift cards on eBay for $82 and have $90 in Cabela's points so the price is pretty attractive.

I want a varmint caliber that can reach out 600-700 yards and am torn on what rifle to get:

- 223 with 1:9 twist
- 22-250 with 1:12 twist
- 6.5 creedmoor, sell the takeoff barrel and re-barrel in 22-250 with a faster twist

I like the 1:9 twist of the 223 rifle but prefer the velocity of the 22-250 round. On the other hand I'm not sure if 1:12 twist on the 22-250 rifle will allow for a bullet heavy enough to reach the distances I'm looking for. The 6.5C barrels seem to be fetching around $200 on eBay so I could sell it and use the money to get the 22-250 barrel in a faster twist. I'm not sure of the bolt face is the same, either.

Any thoughts? Any experience with the 204 ruger?

I've had a 22-250 with a 1:12 twist and it shot the 50 grain Vmax really well out to 450 yards or so... I would actually say that for shooting 600-700 reliably and consistently, I'd go with the 6.5 Creed. I just built a 260 rem for long range varminting and steel plinking...

I wanted something to buck the wind a bit better than the 22-250 (50 grain pill in 20 mph winds sucks) the 6.5 will do that a lot better.

Just my 2 cents,

I thought about sticking with the 6.5C but just built a 6.5x284 last year that will reach those distances. I don't own anything in a varmint caliber yet so I figured why not go that route. Maybe asking for 600-700 yards out of the smaller caliber is too much? 1:12 seems to be the most common twist available in all rifles chambered in 22-250, I would assume for good reason.

I have shot a lot of p.d.s over 600 yds with mine. When it gets windy, just line up with or against wind.

1:12 is probably the most common... as it will allow 50 and 55 gr pills to be shot pretty well at varying velocities... Not many average varminters are shooting anything bigger than a 55 gr. pill so it has that covered. I went with a 1:9 twist on my last CBI barrel so I could load the 60-70 gr. pills to try and buck the wind a bit better... funny thing is I still shoot 55's... @ 3400 fps... and it extremely stable.

Thanks for the re-assurance that 22-250 is the way to go, its hard to not want to buy something and change everything about it right away! Hopefully mine will be a shooter out of the box. Now to pick out a stock....

Now to pick out a stock....22-250 Are inherently fast and flat... it's hard to go wrong... Thompson, savage and several others have 1 MOA guarantees out of the box.

Not sure, I got the booklet sales ads.

it won’t let me insert a pic from my phone here? The online sales ad shows different? Says $150 in savings total. Not sure why the discrepancy.
