I just ordered on in 22-250. The only other one in stock was the 204 ruger. Someone called and confirmed that the 12FV is included like the 12FCV in the rebate.

When you fill out the rebate online how do you send a copy of your receipt and how long does it take for the 100$ visa to come in?

I don't have a cabellas in my state so hopefully they will accept the invoice they send with it to my FFL. I payed 319 but they charged me 349 with tax even tho I bought it online and don't live in the same state as the store it is being shipped too. I will then have to pay 30$ for that store to ship it to my FFL and 20$ for my FFL transfer fee. If i can get the taxes removed it should only cost my $275 delivered.

319 Sale price subtract $100 rebate = $219. Maybe he had a couple bucks in cabelas points or possibly had a gift card that lessened the amount a couple dollars.

My guess anyway.

More like 320+tax = 364 (for me at least) Use gift cards you buy online to make effective price 364*(.87) = 317 Then the 100 rebate = 217

Just ordered the Creedmoor 12 VF today but it is on backorder. I saw that the rebate is good until Dec 2017 and for the most part people are saying the $100 rebate works on this model. Also, than you for the info on the gift cards... I never even thought of that! I ended up paying the 319 plus tax and will use the 100 rebate card for ammo

Huh, this doesn't make sense. You bought two rifles? Please explain how you got $217?I bought 5 rifles so far in the past 3 months. This last one was $319.99 + $100.00 rebate + $20.00 reward bucks final price $217.99. Clear ?

LOL, no. So, you bought 5 guns got $20 rewards bucks per gun and that's the extra $100?

There is a $100 rebate on these rifles. They are also on sale for $100 off the normal price of $419. Some people save money by buying discounted gift cards online, others have some rewards earned at Cabela's that they apply to the purchase.

Rifle costs $419. On sale for $319. Plus tax $340. Rebate applied for will earn $100 debit card. Cost now $240. I chose not to do gift cards as it was more hassle than it was worth.

LOL, no. So, you bought 5 guns got $20 rewards bucks per gun and that's the extra $100?Ok real slow. I won't confuse you with the other rifles. I bought a 12FV in 6.5 CM from Cabelas the sale price was $319.99 + they have a $100.00 pre paid Visa card rebate. $319.99 - $100.00 = $219.99. I had $20.00 in incentive rewards that I applied to the final price. Final total $ 217.99. If you can't figure it out from here, I can't help you.

For what it is worth:
I own several Boyds stocks and have been very happy with them:
BUT
I ordered another one 4 weeks ago and it still has not shipped. I have talked to them and have only gotten a run around on when it will actually ship. If I had not previously been happy with them I would have canceled the order and bought a Bell and Carlson.

Certainly odd. Mine came johny on the spot.

Not to make excuses, its a huge operation, they must provide thousands of different stocks for guns other than Savage.

Once its lots in space getting it back is a bugger.

Car shipper in Seattle lost a car one time. Took a month for them to find it.

Ok,ok, I'm a little slow on the uptake. You don't have to get all snippy.

It's deals like this that are turning me off to Savage. Why would I want to buy one of their guns when they're doing everything they can to devalue their products? When you flood the market with cheap product the product ultimately becomes worthless.

I don't think in the grand scheme of things it will cause a major loss in value to their other product lines. The Stevens 200 line was selling for similar prices not that many years ago, ultimately not affecting the market.

Its a buyers market. Everything is cheap right now. Taurus revolvers are on sale for $159. They just had blowouts on S&W Shields for $225 after rebate. You can get a Remington 700 SPS Varmint or Tactical for $375 with a $75 rebate.

A MOA capable 1000 yard rifle will never be worthless. Most people would pick up this rifle and set it right back down. A narrow niche finds value in it for what it is.
