I've read some of the threads and I am new to the group. I'm in need help dating my rifle. G554812 Thanks for any information.

Mine is G53XXXX and Savage told me that it was made 8/2006. Yours is after that, probably 9 or 10 of 2006.

Does yours have an accu trigger?

Call Savage for the exact month of manufacture.
