Has anyone found an application where Magpro is "The _______Powder"? Like 4831 is the 270 powder ect...

I have a couple pounds and have yet to find any advantage or reason to use.

Nope. I have never got that stuff to shoot in anything.

It was looking good in the 7mm rm but got stalled out before hitting my goal. Secondary pressure spikes shut me down long before any significant pressure signs or even recoil for that matter. Just not worth chasing anymore.

I have tried numerous loads with it and it has never produced acceptable results for me. Now I am just like you with a couple pounds of it and no use for it.

Think I'm just going to use it up in my 500/375 with cast bullets for plinking.

Not ideal or efficient but at least I can have some fun with it.

I used it in my 270wsm, it was fast like advertised, but the accuracy was not quite there.

My experience with it has me having second thoughts about trying another new arrival, I am considering trying Hodgon 100V in a 6.5x284, but have fears I will have the same results as the Magpro.

Your fears are warranted. I have also tried H100V in numerous calibers because it is supposed to be "the ticket" but have never gotten acceptable accuracy from it as well. I have a friend that loves the stuff in his creedmoor but I can't get it to shoot. Like magpro I use the left overs for fire forming or break in.
