Factory load for 16 trophy hunter xp 308

Just picked up another accutrigger model. Love these guns... This time a 16 trophy hunter xp in a 308. Don't have time to hand load these days so looking for opinions on a FACTORY load that will hammer deer and not my shoulder . Mostly hunt in the southeast and texas

Never met a 308 that kicked, so to me there isn't a load that would hammer your shoulder.

Any game bullet over 135gr, will happily hammer those little critters all day long.

Try a thicker recoil pad my rifle has a super spongy feeling pad from the factory stock it makes the recoil laughable

If you are recoil sensitive do what magnum and shotgunners do, wear a padded coat or use a towel/ shoulder pad. Maybe on midwayusa website

Was kinda kidding on the recoil deal......was more meant for the guys who say to shoot the 186gr cruise missiles.

think hornady or Fusion
