Are the Nikons from WM the same as the older XP versions? I see they are on clearance here for 124 had been 179 for long time. 1 boxed & several blister packs.

So I found a Nikon Prostaff #6722 boxed version at wm for $79. It appeared to be the older version but couldn't pass it up for the price.

The blister packs looked to be the same scope but rang up at $128. Regularly $169. Not a steal but decent compared to what else ya can get for the money.

Will put it to use and see how it does. Eye relief was about the only thing that seems lacking so far.

So I eyeball bore sighted this last night on a 7mm rm.

Comparing with the Redfield Revenges I have had it wins based on its 80 moa adjustment alone.

This morning it only took 2-shots to sight in can't complain. Shot 3 1/2" 3 shot groups and called er good for today.

Wish I'd tried the Nikon before the Redfields.
