Bell & Carson Varmint / Tactical Stock

I am putting a bull barrel on a Savage 12 receiver (4.27), does the Bell & Carson barrel channel (model 2999) have enough space to free float a bull barrel or is it just big enough for a Varmint profile barrel? The alternate if a Choate Varmint Tactical which will work with a bull barrel.

I have one holding a model 10. Requires using a dowel and sandpaper to open the channel up for a bull barrel. Dremel to free float the tang. All work very easy to do. I believe you would be happy with the results.
