Hi everybody! I just got signed up with an account, figured this was as good a place to start as any. I'm new to the Savage world, just picked up my first one two weeks ago. I grew up on the remmy 700 action, but after constantly hearing my uncle and his friends boast about their Savages, I figured I'd give it a look. I had just gotten prepped to buy a 338 Lapua rifle when I saw an article on Savage's new 112 Magnum Target. It looked great and was right in my price range for an entry level 338. I went ahead and gave it a go and got it set up to shoot last weekend. I'd say that with the initial testing, I'm going to be very satisfied. I joined up to get some good handloading advice, and who better to ask than the people using the same rifles. :eagerness:
