Just got this rifle a few weeks ago and added a Vortex Viper HS 6-24x50 to it that needed to be sighted. The Hog Hunter is pretty much straight out of the box. To get me on paper, I used cheap ammo (Perfecta 147gr FMJ) so I wouldn't really waste much if I was way off with the scope freshly mounted and then once I got close to where I was aiming, I switched to Federal Gold Medal .308 Win 168gr Sierra Matchking BTHP and got great results. I've heard great things about this ammo, tried it once and tried it again today.......BTW, I'm used to shooting my AR15 and this is my first BA rifle and first .308

I used this software I found called Ontarget Precision Calculator to calculate the grouping....it's a trial software but I like it so might buy it

I set my GoPro camera up to take pics like every 30 secs
