Detachable mag to blind mag.

I have a savage 111 in 300 win mag with a detachable center feed magazine and I was wondering if it's possible to change it for a blind center feed magazine? The reason I have a stock for a blind magazine. The blind magazine and follower are hard to find?

i believe you just remove the base plate off the mag you have and you are gtg, just use your mag and follower. you will have to add an L-clip to it so it says in the stock.

Devildog is exactly right, its a simple changeover. You do need the Lclip tho. Easy peezy.

Actually you don't need the "L-clip" a little epoxy putty in each corner of the well done like bedding, or 1 or 2 thin wood shims on the sides and up front just enough to hold in place and you are good to go.
