Hello all.
As the title suggests, I am from the Raleigh area of North Carolina.
Over a decade ago I bought my first centerfire rifle... a CETME in 7.62x51. It wasn't long after that that I bought my first centerfire bolt action rifle.
That was a Savage 10FP with the Accutrigger (which had just come out) and a stock made of Tupperware. That was about 10 years ago now.
I have since replaced the flimsy stock with a Bell & Carlson Medalist and put some decent glass on it and have shot it out as far as 600 yards at Camp Butner. I've also competed with it at Woody's Designated Marksmanship events. The CETME has left my stable but the Savage has remained. It has been a stellar rifle. I just wish I had more options of stocks these days. Oh well... that is the debacle that Savage created.
I have visited this site off and on for the past 10 years and always found lots of good information. Thank you all for contributing.
