A friend of mine called me last night and said a local Walmart had a price of $199 for the Axis II combo. He bought one in .30-06. With the $50 rebate, this is the best deal I have heard of in a long time.

I have heard that on another forum, wish I had the money to pick up a .308 or 30/06 version.

Wow that's a great deal. To bad I live in California. No fire arms at Wallmart:(

Time to start calling local Walmarts that sell rifles.

Earlier this year a local chain was selling off original Axis in 243 for $179. I bought the last two they had to build off of and thought I got a steal, this deal is almost too good to be true.

This Walmart is in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee which is just north of Chattanooga. At the time Carl bought the .30-06, they also had a .223 in stock at the $199 price.

Typing this in my local WalMart parking lot (NW Missouri). No deals here. They had one Axis (308) for $289.

Had one regular Axis in 22-250 here. No scope, no accutrigger. Still hard to pass up for $150 after the rebate. That's cheaper than the 243 youth I scored for $179 that I built my Creedmoor on.

They are priced higher today at my local Wally World, than they were when I bought mine two years ago.

Scratch that. It rang up $139. Best deal ever. Lol

Dang, dude! I'm going to have to check my (not so) local stores. Unfortunately, the stores closest to me don't sell guns.

Yeah, had a $199 clearance tag on it, which was good enough with the $50 rebate too. Did the paperwork, and it rang up $139. I was like, uhhhh... the guy looked at me, I looked at him, swiped my card IMMEDIATELY, and then said, wow, that's freaking amazing. Hahahaha

Then I got the parking lot, and realized with the rebate, that's a $90 gun. Went back and bought the other one they had in the back. :devilish:

You guys don't know how good you have it. Guns are always more expensive in the sunshine state. I paid over 400 out the door for my axis heavy barrel

Where did you get yours? I paid $219 for mine at the Sebring walmart. Without rebates.

I shopped a round a few places and got prices as high as 380 before tax and fees. I ended up getting it from a small local shop for 340. I forgot the total price also included my firearms safety card that was 25 bucks

Checked a few local Walmarts and none had the Axis on sale.

While checking I did see a tag for Bushnell AR Optic 3-9 scope for $89.99 but they were all sold.
