I am in the Coast Guard and I recently got stationed here in OR. I grew up in Louisiana where I hunted whitetail and did a lot of inshore saltwater fishing for redfish and speckled trout. I just recently purchased my first Savage for the terrain out here. Growing up I never even had the opportunity to shoot an animal over 100 yds. I'm diving deep into the long range game here. Looking to bag my first elk and bear. I bought a 111 long range hunter in .300 win mag and I'm getting very excited for the upcoming season. I drew a second season Tioga elk tag. Anyway, glad to be a part of the community.
